Jillian's Big Birthday Celebration Blog Hop June 13, 2011 ~ Day 4, Last Day

Welcome back for the fourth and final day of Jillian's Big Birthday Celebration Blog Hop!  Just think tomorrow, Jillian will be 12 years old!

This project was made with Vintage Paper Rosettes SVG Kit
from SVGCuts.com
I love how this turned out.  This too is ALL Kraft paper, just inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks by Ranger!!!

The Rosette which was cut to the size in the instructions, was inked in Barn Door as well as the center red circle.  I also used Chipped Sapphire around the edges of both of them as well as for the scalloped circle behind the red one.  The star is Mustard Seed with a little Chipped Sapphire around the edges.  The banner I used old paper which is a little darker than the original color of the Kraft paper.  then used a tad of Chipped Sapphire around the edges.  Happy Birthday (from Celebrate Men by A Jillan Vance Design) was stamped in Black Archival Ink by Ranger.
I sprayed the entire project after it was put together, with Perfect Pearls Mist in Sparkling Sunflower.

My niece said it looked like it was made out of metal ~ and in person it really does!  Thanks for hopping with us!!!

So beautiful, I love the colors you chose. Great job! My daughter is also 12 and she loves to paint her nails, maybe a kit with nail Polish and all the goodie would b a nice gift.

Very nice....it does like metal. As far as what she would like for her birthday....hmmm....we are not talking about the average person here. Maybe her own store???? Whatever it is I hope she gets it. What a great "tween" you have there. (Of course you already knew that). It is a blessing just being able to help celebrate her birthday with you. Thank you for that.

This is an awesome creation! I'm going to have to try some of those techniques. I'm guessing Jillian might like some scrapbooking supplies. Maybe an Imagine or other Cricut Machine? They sure are fun and the price has gone down sooooo far. I paid like $500 for my Imagine and now you can get one for $200!!! (Even less on ebay) Whatever she wants, I hope she gets it! :0) Thanks for the chance to win some stamps!

I think Jillian deserves a fun day out to play. How about taking her and friend to an amusement park for a day.

LOVE this rosette!!! Let me know when you post this SVG file. I think Jillian would love this rosette and if not I know that I would. If not the rosette than maybe some crafty supplies.

Beautiful rosette, Bunny! It really does look like metal. This has been a really great hop and I'm so thrilled to have been able to help celebrate Jillian's birthday with you guys. I hope it was a huge success.

Hmmmm.... not really sure what she wants for her birthday but unless she has one already, I would guess perhaps a Cricut Imagine or E2 would be nice.

Thanks for everything!

This is gorgeous, Bunny!!! When I enlarged the photo I could really see the metallic look your niece mentioned. You'd never guess it was made from Kraft paper.

Jillian is such a multi-faceted young lady that it's hard to guess what she would want for her birthday. Most girls I know that age are asking for phones, so that they can text.
